1|How to install a screensaver|Once you created a screensaver there are three ways to install it on your system. The first way is to move it in the c:\windows (or winnt in WindowsNT or Windows2000) directory and then select it as the current screensaver in the Display Properties icon in the Control Panel.The second way is to click on it with the right mouse button and select the Install option from the popup menu. This command does NOT copy the screensaver into the c:\windows\system32 directory. Finally, if you created an auto Installing screensaver (.exe extension), then just double click on it. It contains an embedded procedure to simplify installation/disinstallation steps.
2|Contextual help|You can get help for each Screen Saver Builder page by selecting the page tab and then pressing the F1 key.
3|Drag and drop support|You can quickly add image, sound or music files by dragging the files from any folder or Explorer window to the relative Screen Saver Builder page.
4|Online Knowledge Base|To see answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) about Screen Saver Builder, select the 'Knowledge Base' option in the Help menu.
5|Screensaver Projects|You can save screensavers projects using the "Save project..." option in the file menu.
6|Edit a screensaver|After you created a .scr or .exe screensaver you cannot reload and edit it. If you think you will need to edit you screensaver in the future you should save a project file using the 'File->Save Project As...' menu option.
7|What a screensaver project is?|A screensaver project is a file with .ssp3 extension, which contains all the information to create your screensaver. Please note that project files do not contain images, sound or other resource file, it only contains resource file names.
8|How to import version 2.xx projects|If you created screensavers project with Screen Saver Builder version 2.xx, you can import them and convert to version 3.xx project file format with the 'File->Import 2.xx Project...' menu option.
9|Where download updates|You can download updates from the public Download section of our web site by selecting the 'Help->Web Site' menu option.
